GRC Tools: Important factors and considerations

Four key areas areas
are discussed below:
Interface
Is the system user friendly with an attractive design and ease of use settings such as predictive text input? Also, does the system support a wide variety of operation system environments (windows, Linux etc)?
Usability
Does the system require bespoke training, usually provided by the supplier at extra cost, or does it consider itself easy to use and without pre-requisite knowledge?
Integration
Will the system integrate with your existing tools and procedures? If not, how much change is required and will that change be accepted by the organisation and/or employees?
Cloud
Your organisation’s reliance or approach to cloud computing will directly impact the implementation of GRC tools. The level of integration required must be considered alongside the organisation’s future strategies. If you plan to migrate your data to the cloud in the short or medium future, the GRC solution needs to meet this demand.
