The work
We defined the Requests for Proposal (RFP) for a fully managed network solution and a new telecommunications system and oversaw the tendering process from RFP issue through to implementation of the selected solutions.
How we helped
Following definition of the RFP we identified the third parties to be invited to respond. We evaluated the supplier responses and reported our observations to the client along with a recommended shortlist of candidates. We facilitated subsequent discussions and presentations
from vendors to enable the client to select a preferred solution. Following
contract review we oversaw the implementation of the managed network and telecommunications system.
Value added
Our knowledge of voice and data networking, third party supplier management and programme management were brought together to provide the client with an informed overview of the market place and
identify the key selection criteria to ensure the most appropriate solution was selected. We were able to identify and manage the risks associated with transitioning to a new supplier to ensure a smooth start to the contract and the ongoing client/supplier relationship.
