Data Protection Programme Review for UK-based Property Group

The client

A UK based property Group that operates a number of recognised high street estate agency brands covering residential sales, purchases and lettings, with supporting services for Surveying, Mortgages, Legal Services and Repossessions.

The work

Following a Gap Analysis performed by Xcina Consulting, the company had requested an analysis of their remediation progress to date, to ensure they remained on track with their efforts and ensure the committed time frame would be achieved.

How we helped

We provided experienced Data Protection practitioners to assess progress across each company against the companies’ remediation plan. We provided feedback on work completed to date and advice where areas still needed work including adequacy of any implemented controls. We also reassessed the remediation plan to highlight where any tasks required alternative prioritisation to ensure deadlines would be met.

Value added

After assessing each company against their remediation plan, our Data  Protection practitioners determined any gaps or required amendments to the programme. An updated “Readiness Assessment” report was prepared and presented to Executive management outlining the RAG status for the Group against 14 Domain areas.
