FCA update: FCA Annual Public Meeting 2020
This year, due to Coronavirus (Covid-19) and social distancing measures in place at present, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will hold its Annual Public Meeting as a virtual event on Thursday 24 September 10:00 – 12:00.
At this meeting, the FCA will discuss its 2019/20 Annual Report & Accounts (due to be published in September).
There will be an opportunity to submit written questions to the Chairman, Interim Chief Executive and Executive Directors of the FCA.
The FCA will look at how it has delivered against its strategic objective to make markets work well, and its three operational objectives of securing an appropriate degree of protection for consumers, protecting and enhancing the integrity of the UK financial system, and promoting effective competition in the interests of consumers.
Anyone is able to register to watch the live stream and to submit questions during the event. The on demand version will be available afterwards on the FCA’s website.
