The type of personal information we collect

For the purpose of conducting business-to-business (B2B) marketing, we currently collect and process the following information:

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Some of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  By attending an event, webinar or other speaking engagement where you have shared your contact
    information (e.g. via a business card or online registration) so that you can receive marketing communications
    from us. These events, webinars or speaking engagements may also be hosted by one of our partners.

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following source(s) in the following scenario(s):

  Via one of our partner companies within Shearwater Group

  We use the information that you have given us or that we have collected indirectly in order to advertise and market our
    services and solutions that we feel would be of value to your business.

  We may share this information with another portfolio company within Shearwater Group plc so that they can
    also engage in a similar type of marketing exercise.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored within our CRM platform (HubSpot) which has access controls including passwords, role-based logins and multi-factor authentication. This platform also uses encrypted data stores.

We keep the personal information that we collect for as long as the business continues to engage in B2B marketing with you unless you decide to opt-out. In cases such as these, we will dispose of your information by deleting your personal data from our CRM platform.


Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
  • Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
  • Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
  • Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
